Julie Chen Moonves hosts the sensational summer reality series Big Brother, which returned for its 22nd season August 5 at CBS.Chen Moonves was among The original hosts of the Daytime Emmy Award-winning talk show The Talk, serving as moderator and host from the year 2010 until 2018. It was only when she started writing that her passion for writing emerged. Her excellent talk show earned the host an Emmy. The Talk is a show which analyzes current affairs by having five hosts. Chen Moonves co-hosted CBS NewsThe Morning Show on a weekday The Early Show in 2002 as well as in 2010, before becoming host of the talk show. In the past, she served as CBS Morning News anchor and the host for The Early Show. After 9/11 she went to Cairo for a fascinating and informative interview. Chen Moonves has interviewed newsmakers including former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, Queen Rania of Jordan and former defense secretary William Cohen, and celebrities such as Denzel Washington, Angelina Jolie, Kanye West, Taylor Swift, Viola Davis, Tom Hanks, Mary J. Blige, Bruce Springsteen, Tom Cruise, Ben Affleck, Barbra Streisand, Betty White, Jamie Foxx, Scarlett Johansson, Katie Holmes, Matthew McConaughey, Chris Rock, Mel Brooks, Robert DeNiro, and Jennifer Lopez. Chen Moonves covered the Emmy Award-winning CBS Sunday Morning News program. He also interviewed celebrities such as Jamie Lee Curtis or Paula Abdul. Before joining The Early Show he was the CBS owned station reporter in New York City, WCBS. She was a producer for ABC NewsOne (1992-1995), the network's affiliate news service as well as an office assistant for ABC News' Los Angeles bureau (1990-1991) during her senior year at the University of Southern California. This was her first job in broadcasting as a Desk Assistant for ABC News' late-night show Nightline featuring Ted Koppel. Ted Koppel is still one of her favorite journalists. Chen Moonves, who won Columbia du-Pont for the primetime Anatomy of a Riot special which explored the 1992 Los Angeles riots, worked with Koppel.
